Seriously--it would be one for the ages that everyone, "old and new school" fans would totally dig.

I think Dan would be the first to admit that he can only write two (maybe two and a bit) titles per month.
So unless something happens with the Thing, probably not going to happen.
I guess we'll have to settle for minis and the odd one shot on occation but I do hope that he gets an ongoing one day. Maybe it could be bi-monthly? I'd still buy it!

Nah--none of this miniseries stuff. I want to see Slott on Sensational after the current team leaves or on Amazing if JSM leaves--something long term and in the main storyline!

I think it'd be great if THING had a Slott Spider-Man story in the back - then it would literally be Marvel Two-In-One! :)

Hopefully one day he can dethrone JMS and write Amazing the way it's SUPPOSED to be written.

Personally, if Peter David left FNS, I'd like Dan to be the one to take over, because both writers seem to enjoy continuity and humour, and make it work well. But if taking on a Spidey title meant leaving Thing or She-Hulk, I'd rather he stick on those books, they're just so flamin' good.

I'd love to see an extensive Slott/Wieringo collaboration (ie more than one page). I know Mike Wieringo would like that some day too!

FNSM is probably the title best suited for Slott, but I really like what Peter David is doing right now.

I wish Dan would kick JMS off of Amazing too espically after all the talk about what he Joe q plan later this year with Spidey and MJ.

just looking at the old posts and I thought, eh, why not bring this one back. i know it's already been pointed out, but steve wacker on NJF Back in Wack 2: Reader's revenge gave 3 descriptions, one of which described the writer. it's somewhere on the board, but just bringing it back to readers' attention and of course, hoping Dan will make some statement about it.

He won't. Wait for the San Diego Comicon for an announcement concerning this.
