Sequel to UFO:Aftermath, which is a spiritual descendant of X-Com.
UFO:Aftermath was fun, and gave an interesting new story to the alien invasion, but it was obviously an underdone version of X-Com, it lacked a the base building, interiors, and destructability of the original.
Well, UFO:Aftershock is a whole new game, base building, orbital launch platform, multiple research bays with different fields of study, resource gathering, diplomacy, and more new twists on the alient invasion to discover.
Note to those who've not played recent squad tactics games: It's a realtime hybrid, not turn based, but it works out pretty well.
I'm rather liking it so far, it gets a 1.
