Hey Mr. McNiven, I was just wondering if you missed teaching at all. When I first met you at a Toronto con. about 2 years back you talked about how you were a teacher, and had a, art club after school where your students drew comic related stuff. Have you missed those days of one on one education, or are you feeling (especially after join this site) that you are reaching and inspiring a lot more future artist? Plus, why oh why does your first year at the Philly wiz world coincide with the year I'm getting married, so I can't afford to go? Also, on a related note any tips on the married life? Thanks.

As a former married guy I have 1 piece of advice... do NOT let her dictate your collecting habits! My ex tried and it was a CONSTANT source of fights. Oh, she pulled out the "you love your comics more than me" card and the "you spend more on them a week than you do me" stuff... BE WARY!

I told my wife when we first met that I am a comics guy. If she made a deal about it, I was prepared to walk. Luckly, she doesn't care one way or another. Before we got married I told her that I will never give up comics, but that I will keep it reasonable, around 10 titles a month. So far so good. Been married almost 3 years now.
