I need help installing my iPod.

I just got an iPod and I'm having some trouble getting started.

I plugged it into the wall and charged it up. While that was going on, I installed the CD (I already had iTunes).

Then I connected the iPod to my computer. Right away it had me reset the iPod, which I did.

It isn't showing up on iTunes and the iPod's screen says not to disconnect it. How do I get this thing working?

there should be a little green arrow in a grey square thing down in your system tray you can right click on and 'safely unplug' or stop usb device. then plug it back in.
