I looked at my Circuit City ad today and saw they had a no interest financing deal for 36 months on all TVs $999 and up. They had one for $1599 that caught my eye. It's a 32" Samsung HD built-in LCD TV with dual HDMI Hi-def inputs and PC display capability, plus you get another $80 off at purchase. This would be great for me as my nice oak entertainment center only fits up to a 36" TV and it's pretty affordable. I generally hate the no interest crap, but it's nice as long as you can pay the balance off in the time allowed. 36 months to pay off $1600 bucks? No problem. I figure I'll wait until I buy my house to buy the real big bad boy TV, but for now I think I may have to seriously consider it.

I've been looking a the samsungs too. Kinda wary because prices keep dropping, don't want to jump the gun and spend too much

yeah, I hear ya. The way electronics (esp. computers) go it's like you're stuff is instantly outdated the moment you buy it. I figure if I can get at least 6 months of good usage before buying a house and getting a big bad LCD HDTV I'll be happy. Then I could put this one in my bedroom or something.

Oh yeah, and why is it that I can't find a 36" LCD or plasma TV? It's always like 32" and then 37", then 42". tube TVs have a 36" style. Does it have to do with the resolution or the screen size or something? Oh well, the 32" will be fine for me for the time being.
