When, god?! WHEN?!

How good was this? I liked how each issue spotlighted a member, and it all led to the big final event. This is proof there are no bad characters!

And the Quinjetta is too cool.

I'd like to see another look at Squirrelgirl and Speedball's relationship. Even if it's just SG reacting to his possible death. They made a cute couple for the panel or so they were together. And nobody writes either character like Dan Slott writes them.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next sequel. I'm sure Grasshopper III, if he shows up, will be an amazing addition to the team.

I also strongly desire a return of the GLA/GLX. PLEASE?

I loved the GLA mini-series. The ending of the first issue hooked me big time.

The will of the people is unquestionable.

This would be cool.

I think "Great Lakes Defenders" would be a good title. Actually, in order to distinguish themselves from the Secret Defenders, they should name themselves the "Great Lakes Active Defenders." Flatman would have a great time at the parades they'd get invited to.

Yes yes yes! We must have new Great Lakes stories and please have the mighty Pelletier on pencils again.

Well, they had that Christmas Special, right? Was that any good?

Honestly, the GLA mini series was one of the best books published last year. I enjoyed it far more than the big hyped top 10 sellers.

I would love to see them return.

YES! YES! More GLA!

It was. I missed the GLA miniseries when it came out, but the Special was enough to get me to buy the trade - c'mon, Squirrel Girl takes on Thanos. It doesn't get better than that.

I read somewhere--and I don't remember my source for this, so this is totally spurious--that the option was to do a follow-up mini after the first one, and Mr Slott opted instead to do four follow-up one shots. So, assuming that's true, we've got three books left to go.

And MODOK and Terrax.... :D Plus we need to see the development of Squirrel Girl and Speedball's budding romance!

God I hope so. GLA was the best mini-series I've read in years... uhm, is it bad to admit when you shed a tear over the death of a character? :scared: Considering I'd never read any other GLA stories other than what took place in Avengers West Coast (were there any other stories?), I'd say that goes to show a great deal what kind of writing was involved in telling that story!

Squirrel Girl and the rest of those loveable Great Lakers will be appearing in one of my titles soon.

(And they'll make an appearance in ANOTHER writer's book as well... But those aren't my beans to spill, so I'm keeping mum. I will say that they ran the bit past me, and I think that it's GREAT! Can't wait to see it!)

let me guess, they take down that rubbish Collective guy in New Avengers? ;)

I hope Monkey Joe comes back if there's a sequel.

Since the first was a parody of super hero comic character deaths, a sequel could be a parody of super hero comic character resurrections.

Wanna hear what sucks? I STILL haven't read the final issue of this mini. Diamond screwed my shop out of issue 4, and they still haven't shipped my TPB! I wanna finish it, I was enjoying the hell out of the mini and that really pissed me off.

Squirrel Girl and her buddies will show up in the Marvel U again...
...soon.

Once in one of my books. And another time in another writer's book. (He ran the bit by me, and I thought it was a hoot!)

So there you go...

But the REAL presciption for what ails ya...

...is cowbell!
