I know it slipped under the radar but Paul Smith's Pencils on the recent Kitty Pryde:Shadow and Flame Mini was brilliant. If he brings that quality and stability to She-Hulk watch out.

I still can't beleive Paul Smith is gonna be on the book! I love Bobillo, he's the best, but I never expected his replacement to be PAUL SMITH! Wow. It's gonna be sooo good.

I really liked his stuff on Stormwatch. I Paul would have gone onto something big at Marvel but I havn't had much interest in the titles they have put him on. Really looking foreward to him on She-Hulk though. I want to see some pics too :(

I can't even begin to tell you all how jazzed I am to be working on this book with Paul! The art that's been coming in is top notch! And I'm SO glad that it's going to run in the CIVIL WAR crossover issue! So MAYBE we'll hook some new readers?
I swear-- this feels like more of a relaunch than the relaunch!!!

WE WOULDN'T KNOW!!!
Comeon, Dan, just a page? Consider it the promotion that wasn't done when the book was relaunched the first time.

Okay...
Here's the deal...
Sadly, I am totally lost with all these newfangled message board stuff and all its whosiwhatsitses.
If someone could put up a post that explains (as if they were talking to someone who has absolutely NO idea of what they're doing computer-wise) just how you get the images that are on your hard drive up on to the board...
...then I would be MORE than happy to put up a sneak peek of Paul's AMAZING artwork.
:) <--adding smilies to posts is about the extent of my cyber-abilities. :(

GREAT!!!
Do you have a photobucket account?

You can download any image from your computer to photobucket. After you do that, you'll see three options to copy and paste from.

You want to copy and paste the IMG link. It starts with a and ends with a
Just click on the quote function of this post like you were going to reply to me, and look at how this image of the cover to Thing #8 looks. That's what I copied and pasted from photobucket.

Dan, incase you don't understand how to upload pictures to photobucket, I'll explain it step by step.
Once you register (and it's free) and go to your photo album, you'll see something that says "BROWSE".
Click on Browse, and a window to your hard drive will pop up. That's where you can find the picture file you want to upload, whether it's in your Documents, your Pictures, on your Desktop, in a folder you created especially for She Hulk art, whatever. If it's on your hard drive, you'll be able to find it there.
Once you find the file you are looking for, you can either double click on it or click once and then click your "open" function. When you do that, the file will automatically appear in your box next to Browse, and your hard drive window will close.
Then click on SUBMIT, and presto!!!
After it uploads, it will say that PICTURE WAS SUCCESSFULLY UPLOADED.
Make sure it's a JPG image. It'll say .jpg at the very end of the image. .art files won't work, so if it's not a jpg file and you need help changing it, I'll explain that to you. It's easy.

You can always email them to me if you want to forego the uploading process, and I can post them for you.

Quick apologies to everyone.
I am WAY behind on work and I REALLY have to get a plot wrapped up.
I will try to post some of Paul's preview art A.S.A.P. (probably over the weekend).
Sorry about all of this.

I don't know what the plot is and I'm already excited about it.

Can't wait! I'll be picking up my Thing #5 (and a few other titles) next week.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Paul Smith is cooking up artistically, Dan. I think he's a great choice. I'm in the group that wasn't a fan of Bobillo, so I didn't pick up the relaunch based on that. It was very disappointing, because I was reading She-Hulk when Paul Pelletier drew it, and was a huge fan of your GLA. That should be required reading! I was a big fan of John Byrne and Walt Simonson, too, so it sucks that I had to miss out on his creation in the pages of She-Hulk. I'm sure you have big plans for this book, and I can't wait to see what comes up.
With Paul Smith on art, I know I'll be getting a nice styled artist, and he used to be able to hit his deadlines, so hopefully he still does. My biggest knock on him is that he doesn't seem to hang around long enough.
I strongly believe that places like this and newsarama would be a great place to promote this book (and the Thing), and the artist can still sell a book, better than anything else. People might be too lazy to read a big interview article, but they won't pass up eye catching art so quickly.
Pick a good one to show us!
