Wow.

What a great fucking movie.

I'm still rolling it around in my head trying to get everything straight.

Totally not what you'd expect from a G.R. film. Very cerebral, and really makes you think about what you just watched to try and suss it all out.

And before anyone asks, no it's not out in America yet, but it is out in England, and they have the internet there so you can imagine how I watched it ;)

Still, I'll be watching this when it hits American theaters.

First movie in a long time I've watched that didn't hand you all the answers at the end and said 'here's what happened' in a neat little package.

This looks interesting.

I like Ritchie just based on his first two films so look forward to when this is released here as most movies these days suck.

who cares?

did you also watch that in a theatre filled with underage girls?

Nope. Watched it in my house on this glowy box thing.

And just so you know this is the exact opposite of what you'd expect. Sure there's the whole mob/crime thing, but there is very little humor.

So if you're expecting the zany antics of Snatch, or even Lock, stock, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

Snatch is a fine piece of English Cinema.

Great story, well put together, and it's fall down funny in the face of horribly brutal events :D

Unbearable flick. Couldn't stand to watch even half of it.

I had such high hopes for him after Snatch, but it seems he's lost any skill he had before meeting Madonna. :(

I'm a big Guy Richie fan and I really wanted to see this movie... until every single review trashed it. I think Nobles is the sole good review for the film.

Did you guys that hate it understand what was actually going on? Or did you walk away confused?

A guy who watched it with me said, that didn't make any sense! What a stupid fuck movie. Then when I explained it to him he was like...that's fucking brilliant ;)

I can understand how watching a movie, and not understanding it, would piss you off, and turn you off to the flick itself.

But if you did understand it, and still didn't like it, that's cool as well. Different strokes, etc.

I've made several posts on this board about how much I liked REVOLVER.

I think it's Guy Ritchie's best film, hands down... I loved "Lock Stock" and "Snatch", but "Revolver" is a much more complex, daring and mature film. It takes a lot of influence from French New Wave cinema of the 60's. It was also shot quite beautifully.
