Question for Brian about guest appearances in Ms Marvel...

I don't mean team ups or anything. I'm talking about appearances along the same lines as Jessica Drew showing up in issue 1.

Will we see anything like that with Ben Grimm or Wolverine? I'm fairly sure she knew Ben well even before he became the Thing (I know they met briefly during the Ben Grimm and Logan mini set back when Ben was a test pilot before the FF formed, a few years back) and I know for a fact that Carol and Logan have a long history with each other.

I ask because I've seen writers using Wolverine as a supporting character in the likes of Spider-Man titles and amazingly, I think it works really well. Much better than I thought it would.

Any plans along those lines?

I haven't sorted out what the plot involving Logan is yet, but he'll be around at some point post-Civil War.

The FF have an apperance in issue 3, it's a cameo, but I want Ben to be around in the future.

Initially, I'm really working on building up the non-superpowered friends and acquaintences (like Sarah Day). But I really want Carol in the middle of the mighty Marvel mayhem, so you're going to see a little bit of everybody as the series progresses.

Sweet. Glad to hear it. The non-powered cast will be great to see (not enough titles have that anymore I think) but for some reason, Carol strikes me as being like Ben Grimm in that she'd be more involved in the super hero community. And I mean that as in just hanging out.

If you haven't checked them out, I recommend picking up "Logan: Shadow Society" and (I swear to God) "Wolverine Minus 1" for some pre super powered Carol/ Logan history. They're pretty good reads :)

A part of their history that now that I think about it, is never touched upon :?

In terms of the guest star wishlist....

WONDER MAN! I loved the sexual tension that existed between them back when she first joined the Avengers, and I thought it was great that was revisited in HoM. But I hope we get to see how the HoM experience with Wondy has affected Carol. After all, this would not be the first time Carol wound up in a relationship with someone which wasn't entirely of her own free will...it *could* stir up unpleasant memories of Marcus. Or it could simply make her see Simon in a new light.
