Annihilation: Prologue

Marvel's cosmic heavy hitters (Thanos, Ronan, Silver Surfer, Nova, Drax) are gearing up for a big old cosmic event. I picked up this Prologue issue yesterday and I wasn't sure what to expect. It plays like one fuck of a great science fiction flick. Big and epic and sprawling without being confusing. And if you don't know who somebody or something is, there's a handbook in the back of the issue that explains all. Really nicely done.

As I've mentioned in other forums, I REALLY enjoyed this book, if not for the Nova continuity "issues" I'd be willing to say this was 10/10, (or whatever rating scale you prefer)

Fucking excellent book. I've never had a huge interest in Marvel's galactic characters (though I have read some titles) but THIS I'm interested in.
