I really like this game, but just haven't had any time to play, which pisses me off since I can hear my free month of play ticking away in the background. Still, cool to see there's a module drop coming in April.

March 14, 2006 - Turbine is pleased to announce the first module for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE™: Stormreach™ (DDO). The Dragon's Vault module will provide players the opportunity to battle the dangerous Vault of Night that is protected by a ferocious guardian – the red dragon! This module, scheduled for release in April, is the first in a series of planned modules that will provide new content and features for DDO, the hit MMOG that launched February 28th and quickly became the fastest growing MMOG in North America.

The Dragon's Vault module contains 15 compelling dungeons and a new large-scale raid feature focusing on a vicious red dragon. The new dungeons provide a variety of additional content for players of all levels in the game. Turbine announced today that the Dragon's Vault module will be free of charge for all current DDO subscribers as a way to say "thank you" to all of its fans. Turbine also declared its plans to release additional modules over time that include new content, features, and other improvements to the hit MMOG.

I'm getting tired of it already... three characters at level 3, and I can't bring myself to make a new one and have to grind through the exact same quests all over again just to try a mage or sorceror.... and I find myself cycling through my level 3s, and I see they each have a long way to go for level 4... which will just lead to an even longer way to go for level 5, with no new quests really being available till I hit 5... so I'll be repeating older quests on higher difficulty levels.

This is the reason I dropped SWG... I saw lots of grind ahead of me with minimal return.

Now if you and Busse would log the fuck in... I might bother.

Speaking of Busse, he's missing in action. No reply to e-mails. No dropping by the new forums, no DDO. We may have to send out a search and rescue team.

Well, he has been borged... no telling what they've replaced his brain with by now.

I think "borged" should apply only to Microsoft.

EA should be something relating to the Matrix. Maybe "coppertopped". Because, like The Matrix, EA used to be cool before becoming awful.

I dunno... Microsoft has stopped rampantly eating up everything around it... or if it hasn't, it's gotten quiet about it... which would point to being Romulan-esque with the stealthiness of it all.

...ok, this has gotten too geeky even for me now.

Busse's here!

I logged onto DDO for the first time in a week earlier. Got into a Kobold Raid group. Was told "Come on into the mission". Went into the mission to find my party running in circles, offering nothing resembling a unified front. Watched my entire party die in seconds. Logged back out and got back to work.
