Gross!
A gross is 144, yes?
Brian Reed
05-13-2006, 01:43 AM
Nope. Not at all. You can be full of energy, but still be sleepy.
And you can be exhausted and be wide awake. One does not need the other sometimes :)
Seems to be the way of my life actually :?

Right, much as I don't want to, I'm gone. I need to sleep for, like, six week :surrend:
Was good seeing you Kube.
And Alysha....... you were here also :p
Bye bye. Sleep tight. Ya wee princess. Off to sleep on your pink canopy bed. Well, I put a pea under that matress sweetheart! No sleep for you tonight! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Okay, really gone this time. Bed beckons. G'night guys.
You lied to me! That's it! Now I've set your bed on fire. You can sleep on the floor. Next to the firey inferno that was your pea-infested bed!

My friend came back from Japan yesterday morning and didn't fall asleep until midnight. He had been awake for 27 hours straight. He only slept 6 hours and when I spoke with him this evening he said he wasn't tired a bit.
Your friend is a robot, sent from the future to kill us all. Perhaps you should consider killing him first. Do not be distracted by the "blood" -- this is merely oil disguised as blood.
Brian Reed

Six mountain dews, 2 cokes, 3 iced caramel macchiatos since 11:30 this morning and I still have at least 15 hours to go before I can go to sleep.
Or in my case, take a nap.
I'm fucked.
With that much caffine in your system, I'd imagine a lot of twitching.

Funny that she'd show up here to talk about William Shatner.
Maybe she's Canadian?
Funny that you never mention William Shatner. What are you trying to hide from us? Are you secretly in love with Shatner? Is he secretly your sugar daddy? Well, I frankly find this hard to believe and suggest you quit making such unsubstantiated claims regarding Mister Shatner.
Brian Reed
05-13-2006, 02:16 AM
Wow, something just occurred to me the other day. Not that it will do us any good now. :(
As some of you may recall the original Kubiak Thread, Regarding Kubiak, had a total of 33,061 posts making it the longest and most hated thread in the long and storied histories of both Jinxworld, and the Bendis Board. You may also know that the thread's end was brought about earlier than it otherwise might have been because someone decided that it would be a good idea to include roughly 40,000 emoticons in one of his posts. The Lemming would be quick to point out that it was "all of us" who were involved with this debauchery. This might be true if "all of us" included merely himself, Tibbittz and Giannini. Giannini though it appears didn't even break the 10,000 mark, and Tibbitz fell way short; stopping apparently before reaching the millennium mark.
There was quite a bit of drama surrounding this episode as it not only put the thread in jeopardy of being deleted, which would have been particularly detrimental to Howlett whose post count within that thread exceeded 6,500, but also made the board inordinately slow for all users.
There were efforts to remove the smilies, but these were largely unsuccessful. It seemed even the rather meager post created by G consumed so much memory that his computer was incapable of editing it. Tibbitz came in and said "dude, I was home schooled, my computer is radical and way stronger than yours, let me edit your posts." Giannini was more than anxious to comply with this. Of course, if Tibbittz had taken this opportunity to post porn with G's account, would anyone really have been surprised? Somehow, Tib was able to resist this temptation and somehow limit his activities to those that actually lowered the bandwidth consumed by this experiment gone wrong. Of course, no one has ever explained exactly what caused Giannini to later lose over 2500 posts, so it might well have involved a bad karma hangover from this episode.
The true cause of the problem, The Lemming, it turns out was not nearly as trusting of Tibbittz. This fact is all the more curious in retrospect since Ryan has since put a large portion of his hopes of braking into the comic book industry into Tibbittz's hands. Rather than trust Tibbittz, it seemed like a far better idea to start the Please Lock the Kubiak Thread (http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=22735) thread. Not only was his wish granted, but he was able to alert the entire board to this nonsense, eliminating the mystery of "why is the board so slow" and thus ensuring that hatred of the Kubiak Thread would endure for all time.
For whatever reason, it was only days ago that my demented mind arrive at several solutions that could have brought an end to this crisis and allow Regarding Kubiak to live on for possibly several thousand additional posts. The Lemming could have disabled pictures in his browser, he could have adblocked the  image, or he even could have reconfigured his board settings to "Basic Editor - A simple text box". Any of these measures might have allowed The Lemming to remove most of the emoticons from his post, and allow the world to return to normalcy. I can only hope that Howlett will one day be able to forgive me for not being clever enough to preserve his changes of realizing his dream to have 7000 posts in a single thread.
Alright. That's 50 posts. I quit. I've whatever it is I was doinged and now I'm done. Also, Final Draft is calling me names and threatening to never open another file for me as long as I live.

Two girls in their 20s. One is engaged, and only sees her fiance twice a week. We have to plan activities so that they don't go in her room and have sex all day. We also have to make sure she takes her birth control and tell her that she has to be careful and not get pregnant because they'll take her off all of her meds and she'll be strapped to a table for nine months and then have the baby taken away.
The other girl goes to her aunt's house in the city on the weekends...just dropped her off yesterday. She goes to the playground and announces that she'll blow anyone for free.
I really hope Tibbitz doesn't live around here. :scared:

They fed her grapes through her little mask-thingie. She was also doped to the gills.
She also likes to occasionally sneak two boys into the house at 3am.

i have the movie of that starring Jackie Chan. Truly fucking brilliant stuff. He has a fight where he gets thrown into a Street Fighter 2 arcade machine and he starts seeing people as Street fighter characters.
He ends up as the sumo wrestler and he fights Gary Daniels who ends up as Ken.
Two others join the fight as Guile and Dhalsim and get beaten up and then Jackie rejoins the fight as....
Chun Li
He does all her moves and even her victory thing where she jumps up and down like a school girl :scared:

Elizabeth Taylor was the original Helena Cassidine. She was such a big Luke/Laura fan, they cast her in the role back in the 80s. She wasn't that good.
Carol Burnett has a once in a blue moon recurring role on All My Children. It's a cross between Eunice and one of her more toned down characters whose name I can't remember. She's great.
Donald Trump was on AMC as himself. He sucked.
There's always somebody showing up from time to time on one of the shows. It's mostly musical acts. Some good. Some not so much.

I'll always love Jackson, but he's a pompous ass right now as far as the way he's treating Lily.
It's all about Zach, baby. Accent, looks, devilish charm and no bullshit attitude. And that smile. He's my soap Rhett Butler. :swoon:
Just when I thought I'd found my way back to the "real" world, I walk in the door and there, sitting at the table, is my dead father.
:slow motion dropping glass:
You win. Nothing that exciting happened to me today.

The Mack thread isn't for me, the Bendis board one moves too quickly...this one is home, and I like it that way.
Plus, this forum seems to be the Doctor Who discussion zone as well, and that makes me all warm and fuzzy.

but you have phyisics and chimie, we just had 2 years of them
How many classes do you take a year? A typical year for an American High Schooler is English-Foriegn Language-Science-Math-History-2 Electives. You don't even have to take Physics. I took 2 years of Chem, but that's unusual.

We had 30 hours a week
First year: German, French, maths, biology, history, geography religion, luxemburgish & art
Second-third year: you add to that english & informatic and remove luxemburgish, you can also take latin if you want to, but only nerds do
fourth-fifth year: remove informatic, add physics, chem and a fourth language either spanish or italian
sixth-seventh year: specialization, there're 6 differents,
A1 languages: german, french, english, history, spanish/italian, art , maths & economy for idiots, the languages are at an high level
A2 natural sciences: german, french, english, history, economics, biology, geography art and maths for less-idiots
B maths: high level maths & phyisics, biology, chem, history, art and 2 of the 3 languages
C the same as B, just that biology & chem are at a high level instead of maths & physics
D the same as A2, just more maths instead of geography
E art for the girls who suck at school
F music, don't ask, just for freaky nerds :nerd:

We were recently passed on the information that a Japanese Magazine titled Animage, in their current issue, announced that Fox has acquired the rights to the popular anime series SAILOR MOON and is looking to Joss Whedon to presumably write and direct a live action film. Further, they're hoping Miss Can't Keep Her Genitals Inside Her Clothes herself Lindsay Lohan will star alongside Jennifer Garner (as the main villain) in an all non-Asian cast.
The people behind the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the Japanese manga series "Sailor Moon" have sent her some materials to look at, she said, and fans have begun lobbying hard for Lohan to play the titular character, a rail-thin blonde known for her strong powers and sexy costumes.
"I read that [online] the other day," Lohan said of her supposed "Sailor" casting. "I haven't read the script; I don't even know if there is a script. ... I read a lot of things [online] that I don't know about myself that apparently people think are true."
She's getting to old for that movie :(
