Hell, if BRIAN can be a mod, I'm sure that guy can pretend to know what he's doing enough to be a mod.

Me either. I've forgotten all about what we were talking about, and I'm STILL fucking confused

I think some people have latched onto some of my comments about the controller in the beginning and twisted them into something else.

Somehow, despite being the board's biggest Nintendo hater (enough to get a stupid nickname?!), I own a Gamecube and a few games, posted some news about the Wii/Gamecube, etc.

But, it's cool, I'm used to it. There's all sorts of misconceptions floating out there about me. The cutesy nickname is pretty uncalled for though.

For a brief time, my name had been revised to Wii Lad. Now, it's merely my...what would you call that, a descriptor? Either way, he (the wii) be me.

For a brief time, my name had been revised to Wii Lad. Now, it's merely my...what would you call that, a descriptor? Either way, he (the wii) be me.

1. Denial and isolation: "This is not happening. They did NOT name it Wii. It's a hoax that will be revealed at E3."

2. Anger: "How dare Nintendo do this to me."

3. Bargaining: "I will totally not buy a PS3 if you change the name back to Revolution."

4. Depression: "I can't bear to face going through this, putting my family through this, to go to a store and ask for a Wii."

5. Acceptance: "I'm ready, I don't want to struggle anymore. It might be cool if Mr. Iwata walks out on stage at E3 and says in his cute little accent 'Would you like to see my Wii?'"

Nah, I've posted about having a Gamecube, etc.. I may not have had a Nintendo growing up (cheaper and better games on the C64 IMO), but any anti-Nintendo stuff has been to get a laugh.

The Wi(i)l Farrel thing was a funny pic :) Not an anti-Nintendo thing at all.

I want you to download this wav file, set it to play, then close your eye and imagine the glory that Rich has just described.

I have such a soft spot in my heart for that movie. Might be because I haven't seen it since I was 14, but I remember it fondly.

Yeah. And I was browsing as soon as it started :?

If I remember correctly I had to leave shortly afterwards though so I missed the new RK thread here being started. But I was here for the opening of this board.

Regardless of if I was or wasn't though. I know Brian. I like Brian. And I read his comics. So I'd frequent this place, Kube thread or no.

I don't read Mack's stuff outside of his DD (only one of which impressed me) since I can't get Kabuki right now, and I'm not a fan of his art that I've seen in DD and the covers he's done, so I wouldn't frequent his board.

Hence the reason I probably wouldn't notice a Kubiak thread there :)

Mack is a genius. Kabuki (especially The Alchemy) has been some of the most amazing comic work I've ever seen.

That is all.
