In the work that he did for Iron Man I cannot wait with more anticipation for how he does the work for Sentry. It should be something to see. Hope he sticks with the Long hair and no Gloves approach.

Funny you should say... Marvel actually prefer the long hair and no gloves look, so that is what I am sticking with.

When's this arc supposed to come out, Adi? Very much looking forward to it.

Any chance of an early preview page popping up on the board? maybe an Adi variant cover?

In New Avengers only David Finch drew him with the long hair and no gloves. Everyone else gave him gloves and short hair and it looked so corny. When he has short hair you can't tell the difference between him and captain america.

It should be issue #25. # 17 comes out the 22nd of March. Issue 22 starts this story arc.
22Captain America
23Luke Cage
24Spider-Woman
25Sentry
26Ironman
I may end up being off an issue but Deodato is supposed to do 5 issues starting at 17 and ending at 21, so if there are no fill ins. The arc will start on 22 and come out every 2 weeks.
So it looks like the story arc will start in August unless they start the bi-weekly thing early.

Yeah, this is by far my favorite comic series. And whoever mentioned the Sentry with the long hair and no gloves (maybe..yes! The beard/mustache too) you are 100% right. That's exactly how i view the Sentry. What is it again? The power of 1000 exploding suns or something? With his short hair and gloves, he looks like he'd have trouble taking my bed pillows....Good luck on the series Adi.

I like that look too because it's quite unusual for a superhero, albeit Apolo from the Authority looks somewhat similar. The long blond hair is a bitch to draw on a man though, it's very easy to make it look too feminine...

mod edit/ Really no reason for derogatory and offensive name calling, even if it is about a fictional character.

Well given that Sentry is kind of like a MiracleMan/Superman archetype they didn't want to stick to much to the basic short hair and gloves. It would look to corny.
David Finch had his look down perfect when he drew him. Just look at that scene in New Avengers where it is during the prison breakout and he comes right out of prison. Hair down past his shoulders. He looked really awesome.
In Marvel the hero's aren't always so heroic. Long hair is a sign of rebellion in past era's same can be said for Sentry.

YAY! Are you going to give him back His Beard? I think the Beard makes him look Rugged and tough and without it he looks kinda like a sissy.
