- Marc Andreyko says that all of the various DCU Manhunters from over the years will appear in the upcoming “Manhunted” storyline in Manhunter and that some will stick around afterwards and that some will not.
Sounds cool.

I'm interested in the Manhunter history...as portrayed in a more modern way with storytellers I admire like Marc as opposed to the hokey 80's stuff. James Robinson's Starman got me interested in the title, but I can't bring myself to trying that 80's title because it looks so bad, but he made a lame character cool, just like I think Marc is doing now.

This is good to hear. I really hope sales pick up on this title, though, so that we're able to see how this plays out.

Did you read Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson's run from the 70s that was collected in MANHUNTER THE SPECIAL EDITION (STAR09734, $9.95)? You owe it to yourself to read this collection of a story that ran through seven issues of DETECTIVE COMICS as a back-up story, but in that time garnered something like six awards for the great, great storytelling. Don't read any reviews or summaries, the best way to approach this story is to grab the trade and try to figure out for yourself what's going on.
