I love him. I don't know if he's a gimmick or not, but his music backs him up as legit enough for me.

If you like the Beastie Boys, you'll probably like it.

You can usually pick up LIVE AT STUBBS pretty cheaply at Best Buy. It may be your best option.

i like certain songs by him. He showcases a lot of energy. King without a crown is a good song. He is also on 2 tracks on the latest P.O.D. album.

I still prefer the Rappin' Rabbis (as seen on the Simpsons)
"Don't eat pork/not even with a fork
Can't touch this!
I went to Hebrew School with him. Let's just say he was very different back then...

it kinda depresses me when people think he's a joke or a gag :?

When somebody told me about him I'll admit I thought it was a joke or a gag novelty act. But then I saw some live recordings and heard a couple tracks, then I took him seriously.
It's great stuff. I hope he makes the big time.

i think he has made it big already. he's on MTV quite a lot (from what i've seen) and i'm pretty sure his live album can be considered a success, as i see it in tons of stores.

Not being a watcher of MTV, I only heard of him last week, when one of my friends put a song on. The next day, there was an article about him in the paper, then I saw him on tv. So I guess he's got some cash behind him.
It's nice to hear that he's good, though, unlike everything else big-business radio and MTV has force fed us.
