Hello everyone,
I'm back after a very long stint away. It seems a few months ago that my internet broke right in two. Strangest thing ever! lol.... just kidding... I'm new here.
I've just recently stumbled upon this great web site, and got through the three hour interview that Mr. Bendis did with John Siuntres and have to say, those podcasts have helped me get through some pretty boring days at work this week. Thank you Mr. Bendis!!
Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hello".

Hello. Would you care for a welcome grope? Or, if you'd like, we can skip the pleasantries and get straight to deciding what your in-joke will be. Mine is Powers-related.:D

The grope symbol made me laugh when I orig. wrote my message... naive me thought it was waiving hello. Good thing I read the text before submitting

Tibbittz,
Looking at your avatar reminds me of "Rock Lobster" from Family Guy, my buddies made me figure that melody out a little while ago

Hey all, I can attest to Robert's badass qualities, as I once won signed copies of Phoenix: Endsong, 1602: The New World, and Iron Man: House of M from a contest of his, and boy, did he ever deliver!

I think I found my new "screw off mode at work" site. While I'm actually getting a response here...
What originally brought you to this site? I'm assuming Mr. Bendis' authorship / art from comics, but which ones in particular?

Usually it takes breasts, fame, or being named "Taki Soma" to grow a thread this fast...

As far as what brought me here, I'm not really sure. I wasn't a particularly big fan of Bendis' work when I joined. My friend David Aspmo has been a longtime member, and mentioned the board sometimes at my art class. I joined on a lark, and just really enjoyed the hell out of it (mostly the nonsense).

...but if I had known about the chainmail sooner...:grope:

Acoustic-Rock in a local Christian Rock band.
I write the music / lyrics
Play rhythm / lead and do vocals.
I guess in the same vein as Third Day, in the Christian music market)

I'm leavin work, but would be interested in some suggested reading of the non-Marvel titles that Mr. Bendis has written. I've thought about picking up some of his indie work, based off of how much I've enjoyed his mainstream work. Any suggestions?
