Thanks everyone!
John, I changed the sig a while back but it took a while to filter through to the covers since they are done so far in advance.
Prof Oreo, yeah, all the engine guts made me really want to draw lots of greasy bits. I just wish I made it bigger so it shows more, the damn thing is really detailed in person.
Brandon, yes, it is my version of the Hulk-buster. Not based on anything existing though, I made it up.

Adi -- again, I think your work an Iron Man is peerless, but this just feels like a collision of technologies, especially given the armor undersheath you created in Iron Man 5 that's a physical part of Tony's body. It just seems like the innards of the outer armor would be, well, lighter, much smaller, and more resemlbing the structure of viens and arteries of the human body than the infrastructure of an airplane. The blow torch and mask seem odd too: I would think that only the most advanced technology could be utilized to work on Iron Man's armor. Again, no disrespect, just my humble and maybe off the mark opinion.

Honestly, it's just supposed to look cool, nothing else really. I am personally much more interested in the visual appeal of the 50's and 60's heavy tech rather than the nano and cyber tech of today, so I really just wanted to illustrate something that requires pistons and hoses rather than chips and electrodes.

Thanks Pat. I already miss doing the sequentials. But there is another project coming up as soon as I get the script that will surely fill the void.
smashtor, thanks, and yes, I paint all of my work start to finish.

Wow, your work on Iron Man never ceases to amaze me. I'm wondering though, did you design the new, sleeker version of the armor? Kinda funny too, Iron Man's armor changed fairly drastically just as I got pretty good at drawing the previous version.
Very inspirational! I'd love to see a step by step of your coloring. You're getting some amazing effects.

Hmm, I somehow missed some of the posts in this thread. Sorry guys.
And thank you very much!
Gabriele, we shall meet for sure at one of the cons soon. I can't wait.
Outsidezero, I did design the new armor. It was required by the story and I was also quite tired of drawing the old one by that point.
Kody, i am working on a step by step tutorial for an arts magazine in the next couple of weeks.
