Just bought it. Great art. The prison work with the small pictures of what Matt hates about prison, really good. Real quality stuff. Thanks for meeting my high hopes for your run.

Yeah, this year's picture is going to be of Raven grabbing MY junk. If his hand is big enough.

You have the perfect right! I love it when the devil is in the details, literally and figuratively. Lot of people think I notice too much in the background, but it's just an old habit. What did I notice about how well you did your homework, sir? The exterior sign for Nelson & Murdock looks dead on to what we've seen for a good while, and you did not redecorate Foggy's office. The art behind his desk is the same as it was in issue 36, when I first noticed what was on the walls behind the action. Now, THAT kind of stuff, while not important to most people, just exemplifies to me why know I will love your run on the title. You care to get it all right.

It's so cool to have Becky Blake come back to help out in the office. (The accessible ramp must be in the back entrance of the building, because I know N&M would be big on ADA issues. Heh.)

I like the way you showed Matt's radar in action during the fight. And the scene with Foggy in the visitor's room...oh man. Not just talking heads, and when they put their hands up to the glass...oh, shit, man, I just melted.

The last scene? I don't have words right now, except Wooooooooooah!

Congrats to you and Bru. You pulled it off in spades.

Seriously, dude, take a bow. It's the book everyone's talking about (http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?t=56036).

The challenge has been thrown down. I got 5-1 odds on Raven, the man power lifted Oeming by his groin for petes sake. :D

I loved the issue. The art was brilliant, very elegant in the way it carried off the detail and the action.

Great work, man--anyone who can make a naked Kingpin look badass is aces in my book. Also note that Daredevil #82 is currently in sights to be the highest rated book in the Bendis Board Review Group.

Man, you are all too nice. Ed and I are both really proud of the way this series is going so far - wait'll you see the next couple of issues - and hearing that you guys like it too is really gratifying! Thanks a million for all the kind words. I hope you like the rest of the series as much.

THAT was a great read. It kicked my ass. Great art, great story, and this is probably the first time Hammerhead ever looked imposing.

Oh, and that last page was chilling.

Damn it. I was out of town last week so I still haven't gotten a chance to actually read it. I'll I've done is look at the pretty pictures! :)

Oh, on a somewhat related note, Lark, I framed that double page splash on pages 2&3 with a dark red matte and it looks pretty fucking sweet. Well done, sir! :)

It was amazing! Very tense stuff... I can't wait for the rest.

And I got to see a naked Kingpin beating people up, that's gotta count for something.

Ok Mike, I finally got it and read it. I'd already seen it all in black and white and unlettered, so I new that you'd done a great job as far as story-telling and execution. But reading the complete book was just fantastic. I loved the way the story flowed from start to finish. You and Brubaker have both outdone yourselves. I can't wait for the next iss! :)

I just want to add my accolades to those already here. #82 did, completely, kick my ass from start to finish (and what a finish! Say it aint so! :( lol)

great work from every one involved. Colors were perfect (and I got quite a thrill at the splash page that I had played with! It looked 10 times better in print!) the lettering and ink were all top notch! This is how all comics should be made. Kudo to all involved, seriously. Pass it on to your colleagues.

Well, I haven't posted around these parts in quite some time. This issue compelled me enough to do so. Just wanted to say I've been a fan of yours and Bru's since GC and although I LOVED Bendis and Maleev's run, I haven't been this excited to read Daredevil in years. Great, amazing first issue. DD is now back at the top spot on my favorite comics list. Can't wait to see where this goes. Hope you guys stick around for a long time!

Don't tell Bendis or Maleev, but you and Bru just put out the best single issue of DD I've ever read. I've read it twice since last Wednesday, and found it equally impressive both times.

One question: Did you kick Bru in the Baker or something? I mean, I love your art, but I can't imagine you weren't cussing him when the pages came in. "Sixteen panels again?! What the FUCK?!?!" I seriously imagined you saying this. ;)

The 16 panels was actually my idea. It ain't a problem on a scene like that. That was actually one of my favorite scenes to draw.

That's awesome, man.

The sheer effort put into this issue by both of you is impressive enough, but the outcome is just amazing. You guys put the book at the top of my "to read" pile regardless of what other books I get (and I ONLY get quality!) that week. :)
