This is the second day in a row I've woken up with a headache. Seems like the same one too, well less for the fact that the other one went away yesterday around lunchtime.
Anyway, it sucks. I hate headaches. And waking up with them is the worst. I usually take Excedrine Migraine for them, but now that I'm on this whole health kick, or whatever you want to call it, I'm interested in natural solutions as well. Anyone know of any other good methods of getting rid of headaches?

Sleep.

Eh, sleep is for the weak.

Really though, I am able to REALLY write late at night/early morning.

The only way I get rid of a real migraine is getting sick.
The only way.
I've eaten half a bottle of tylenol before too, but it didn't work.

Have you recently given up caffene?
If so that's the cause of 2 days in a row.Your body is not getting something it's used to.Start drinking lots of water. That will help sometimes. Also if this is the cause try drinking some caffene and cut back gradually.
Please don't kill me for my mispelling.

No. But I have majorly changed my diet.

Well if you have one tomorrow it might be that.
With anything that you do regularly you body will expect it,and when you take it away you go through withdraw.

Water water water water water water water water water water water water

Trust me. When Excedrin doesn't work for me, the only thing that does is water.

Just keep the cycle going (drink, pee, drink pee, etc.) and the headache will go.

I agree with the water thing. That can take care of most of them. If they don't go away, it could be something more serious.

Do you need/wear glasses? If you do, is there any chance you need a stronger perscription?

Water, sleep, massage, sex, food, relaxation. One or some or all of those things can help with a headache. Try them in any order you like!

Ha!

And yeah, I wear glasses. Probably should get my eyes checked again. But, I never have the time for one, and two I don't have the money for new glasses if I need 'em right now.

Wow, everyone has an opinion!

Mine is springtime. I never used to get any alergies but at about the time I hit 30 I started getting headaches when the trees started blooming, mostly in the morning, and they mostly went away by themselves by noon. Alergies.

I actually get headaches from my glasses because they are slightly too small. My head has grown about a tenth of an inch since I got them so many years ago, and now they pinch a little.

That's how I know when to get a new perscription. I just keep getting really bad headaches until I go to the eye doctor...
