Bendis and Maleev, Re: Spider-Woman

Please, no fill-in artists for the length of the time you guys are on the book. Looking back on the Daredevil run as a whole, that 3-issue Trial of the Century still bugs me, and for some reason I usually end up skipping it when I'm rereading the HCs. This is why I'd always rather see a book come out late (or even skip a shipping month [though I realize that may not be fiscally feasible for Marvel as opposed to Powers]), because 6 months, a year, 5 years down the line, when you're reading the run as a whole, it's so much smoother. Especially if we get a DD Omnibus or whatever Bendis was babbling about. And since Maleev has such an amazingly unique style, it makes fill-ins all the more jarring.

Now I'm not opposed to something like we saw in DD #50 with those special guest artists, or even what they'd been doing in Captain America with Lark doing the flashbacks, but please, think of your OCD-ridden fans when you consider a fill-in artist.

What's this about a DAREDEVIL Omnibus? I'm thinking about picking up the individual hardcovers, but this sounds like a better option to me.

Good thinking, and I totally agree. The Manuel Garciez/Terry Dodson stuff is worthwhile in its own right, but doesn't feel like part of the overall run, really.
