Just read the preview copy... wow...
Hats off guys... it's been a fantastic ride and I stand by my statement early on in the run. THIS is the essential DD run. No disrespect to Frank Miller & Klaus Janson, but this is now it.

Yeah, this was good. I've been loving this storyarc. Took me a while to warm up to this run on Daredevil, but it's won me over in a BIG way.

Cool, I just read #80 today and dug it a lot (it's taken that long to arrive here). Very much looking forward to #81.

Issue 80 arrived today in my post, and read it as soon as I opened the package. Great run indeed! I am gonna miss the creative a lot, and Maleev's rendition of the Daredevil universe.
Great run guys, many kudos!

The DD .25 cent issue's cover got me back into comics. What a great run. Thank you Brian & Alex!

Apparently you haven't read the grand Shakespearean saga that was DD's battle with Vapora, an evil creature - the acts of huffing and explosions made flesh - in a free gasoline safety giveaway from the '90s.
If there was a word in our woefully inept language that could approach the summary of this cautionary fable, that word would be...epic!

I love you guys and totally am gonna miss you on this title, but boy oh boy am I looking forward to the fun ride on Spider-Woman!!!
I read the issue and just to pass it to my co-worker and best bud, Shannon.
she has a few words to say, which are in bold:
Man o Man I LOVE your stuff!!!!! I'm so sad your no longer writing daredevil. I never thought I could like daredevil until you wrote it! But I am not dissapointed in the ending at all. It just means I have Spider-woman to look forward to! Your amazing dont stop doing what your doing.

I saw a poster of that in a fire house 2 years ago. Is there really a comic, too?
Man, I can't wait for #81. This really has been the greatest story ever told with this character. Bendis & Alex, thanks for staying on the book so long and making it an epic. It could have been a few great stories, but you've made it something truly fantastic. I think of it as the longest single arc ever on a superhero comic rather than a series of arcs, and it's ending even sharper than it began.

I've been pretty lukewarm on this book the past few years, but I have to admit that #81 was easily the best single issue of the series since Frank Miller wrote the book. Oh, hell--I think this even exceeds Miller at his best. I fully expect this issue to end up on all of the 2006 year end polls as one of the "year's best". It was stunning to say the least. Everyone that buys it next week should make a point of reading it first. One shock after another, each one more explosive. I thought I was reading "What If?". Damn.
Great job, Brian and Alex.

Yes sir. I never cared about Matt Murdock before but now I do.
Besides, my DD fights villains like Hyde, Gladiator, and Stiltman, not a bunch of ninjas all the time.

I am DYING to see the last issue. I didn't think they would ship it out in the preview packs, or I would have been at the comic shop today. They will let me read it if I give them my car keys while I have it. It's a good tradeoff.
Hell of a ride, gentlemen. I thank you.
