The Upside of Anger

Now I know SIN CITY is the popular choice because it's all cool being based on a comic book with lots of sex and violence and profanity, but for my money Mike Binder's THE UPSIDE OF ANGER is the best movie of the year so far.

I'll be shocked if Joan Allen doesn't get an Oscar nomination, but the whole cast is great even Kevin Costner. And the quartet of actors playing Allen's daughters (Alicia Witt, Erika Christensen, Keri Russell, and Evan Rachel Wood) are a charm to watch.

I hate Mike Binder. I hate his movies, I hate his TV show, I hate him in interviews. Last week, I started a thread entitled "Mike Binder is a Penis." I did not mean this in the good way.

I'm sure Joan Allen is excellent. She is fantastic.
