Would you buy a Certified used Honda if it had 60,000 miles on it? I normally wouldn't look at something with that many miles, but the whole certified thing has me intrigued.

my dad's certified Akita dog couldn't win a dog competition if her life depended on it.
does that help?

If you have a cheap CRX with only 60k on it, hook a brother up!

60K is nothing for a Honda. Twice that is practically nothing for a Honda, especially an Accord.

That's what I was thinking and the certified warranty has it covere till 100,000 miles.

And Hondas have good gas mileage too.

I had a friend who had 200,000 miles on his Honda Civic. He was going to go treat it to a carwash but it got stolen. The police found the remains in some far off place. But by the time he got there, the remains got stolen, leaving him with only a lugnut.
So I guess they are reliable :)

I would agree. That's a reliable automobile.

I only partly agree with this. I drive a 2000 Accord V6 with 65k on it, and there really, really skimped on the transmission for that generation. They had to issue an extended 6 year warranty to make up for it.

You have to supply your own Fart Pipe.

That's very reasonable if it's a clean car.

Civics certainly do.

That's not too bad. Ask dude how about 10k.
How is the condition of the body? Run a car fax.
Start the car up and listen to it idle. Rub your finger in the tail pipe while it's running. If your finger is coated with a bunch of black shit, it might have some engine problems (that's not the end all be all test).
I currently own a 93 Toyota Camry with 179k miles and it runs great. Hondas can run a long time too (especially those civics). 60k isn't much for those cars.

My 1990 Honda Civic hatch has 159,000 miles on it and is still going stong.

I'd buy pretty much anything under 80,000... miles or dollars...

I work for a used car lot and I know from experience that the miles aren't too big of a deal, you really need to look into the car's history. Run a Carfax (if you're getting it from a dealership they should be able to pull one for you) and check for any accidents and for how many times it's been serviced (and what for).

certified warranties rule, and you can always buy a service plan to keep it going.
