Wow, American Dreamz looks to be the worst movie ever

Or you can just read the spoilers for what this movie is about and man....is it dumb.

So Dennis Quaid plays the President of the US while Willem Dafoe plays the part of Dick Cheney....seriously....and Quaid has gone a little crazy apparently. Now Hugh Grant plays the part of Simon Cowell who hosts the American Idol...I mean American Dreamz tv show.

The president decides that the only way to stop being crazy is to be a guest judge on American Dreamz. But wait, terrorists hear that the news and decide to enter one of their men in the competition so he'll make it to the finals and bomb the president as he is judging the event.


The main thing is that it kind of looks like a dramedy rather than a comedy which makes it even more ridiculous.

Quaid is doing a pretty good Bush, too.

But this has Mandy Moore in it, so a certain segment of the board's population is probably interested in seeing it, in addition to those who want to see a movie which ridicules Bush... and it also spells a word incorrectly with a "z" which is what all you hip kidz do theze dayz, right?

It's not a great trailer, but Hugh Grant and Dennis Quaid of each done fantastic movies with Paul Weitz, movies I've seen a number of times and am sort of surprised didn't net Grant and Quaid some awards. PLUS Willem Dafoe! And Bush-bashing!

I am there. If not there in theatres, then I am there on DVD.
