Hey, everyone. I've started sharing a collection of Audrey Hepburn drawings I have by scanning them and posting them to my blog. Mr. Mack did one way back in 2000, and I put it up today.

You can see it here. (http://confessions123.blogspot.com/2005/12/hollywood-girl-on-fire-escape-pt_19.html)

Also...

David, last time you were in Portland, you met an artist named Joelle Jones and introduced her to Diana Schutz at Dark Horse. That led to Joelle illustrating a story in Diana's Sexy Chix anthology, out next month, which in turn led to Joelle working with me on a graphic novel for Oni Press to be published next year. It's called 12 Reasons Why I Love Her, and you can also see some of her sketches on my blog here (http://confessions123.blogspot.com/2005/12/i-love-love-partially-cross-posted.html). Her art is awesome.

Awesome! Audrey Hepburn was incredibly beautiful (and Kate too) and those are some great sketches! Is Mack's from Breakfast at Tiffany's? That's one of her best roles.

I don't believe that David's illo was referenced from Breakfast at Tiffany's. I believe it was based off some non-movie photos.

Thanks for that update.
I thought Joelle's work was great.
She had a bunch of pages she drew with Kabuki related characters that I was really impressed with.

I'm glad the meeting with Diana paid off and that she is doing work with her and you. That is great to hear!
Please give her my congratulations!

And both of you should continue to feel welcome to promote your projects here.

Best!

I saw those. They were part of what made me ask her to collaborate. It's funny, we live three blocks apart and had no idea. Anyway, I told her today that I had posted this update, and she was all shy and embarrassed as usual. That girl...!
