Dylan to host weekly music show on XM
You can call him Bobby and you can call him Zimmie. And come March 2006, you can call him DJ. Bob Dylan has agreed to host a weekly, one-hour music show for XM Satellite Radio's Deep Tracks channel. It marks the first time the music legend will have hosted a radio show. Featuring an eclectic mix of music hand-picked by the cultural icon, the program will also include commentary from Dylan on music and other topics, along with Dylan interviewing guests and taking emails from XM subscribers. "Songs and music have always inspired me," Dylan said in a press release Tuesday. "A lot of my own songs have been played on the radio, but this is the first time I've ever been on the other side of the mic. It'll be as exciting for me as it is for XM."
