*sigh* One of the greatest shows cable ever produced (not to mention they were my local homeboys and girls!)

I don't know what the deal is with it being out of print. Apparently whoever has the rights is hardcore about going after torrents of the movie too which is why I've never downloaded it.

I've watched that flick over a dozen times and it never stops being hilarious. :)

I actually got to see them do this live at the MST3K convention about a dozen years ago. The movie's great, but it loses something when you don't get to see Crow call Kim Catrell a cunt. ;)

ditto.

i was flipping channels the other day and saw this was on (i think sunday) and for a second, my wishful thinking thought sundance had picked up the show and was airing episodes without my knowledge, but alas...

The show will never air regularly again, and most of the episodes will never be available on DVD. The only way to own this show is to download them all, which I have done. I have EVERY episode on a couple hundred CD-Rs. I've burned a few of them to DVD, too. It's awesome.

yeah, on and off i've been doing that too... but i don't wanna get in trouble with cablevision for downloading too much- my cable company cut off my bandwidth once for downloding and uploading too much

I saw the thing twice in the theaters during the week it was here. Only time I've ever seen a movie get a standing ovation halfway through. (Crow's crack about Branson, Missouri)

That reminds me that I need to find my DVDs of the two Christmas episodes for their annual viewings.

I remember getting the newsletter about this, and being bummed that they're only showing it the first half of December. I don't go home until Friday :(
