Picking up on another item from last night, Brevoort said a 6-issue “Classic Thor” project is the works by Mike Oeming and Scott Kolins, similar to Kolins and Joe Casey’s Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Not a big fan of the character but I enjoyed the EMH mini a lor so I'm totally buying this, also cuz Kolins is on the art as well. Maybe I'll end up a fan of the character after this. Congrats Oeming!!!

Mike, I am a huge Thor fan, so I'm thrilled about this news. I loved your 6 parter with Andrea Di Vito, and I'm sorry that such a great team will be splitting up after the Beta Ray Bill series, but Scot Kolins is a great choice. I loved his retro stuff on Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and I enjoy his work on Marvel Team Up. I'm sure Andrea will do great things with Dan Slott on The Thing's new series, so it's all good.

I remember that you were a big fan of the Donald Blake/Thor aspect , in which Thor never really fit in 100% with Earthlings or Asgardians, so I'm sure you'll be getting into that a little. I hope it's a huge success so Marvel realizes that Thor can work, without having to create a new character and call him Thor. Good luck!
