I want to see some bling bling Spidey Armor 8) or the Spider-Man Unlimited tv-show outfit ;P

I like to see which costume they come up with next, but the variant craze does seem to get out of hand. Let's see if the market can (or wants to) support it.

They're a way to do second printings without calling them second printings... Marvel doesnt over print, so once a run of something is sold out, it's out.. there is no more getting more... this is a way for people to get the story and not feel like they're getting a lousy second printing...

Normally I think variant covers, and the suckers that fall for them, are for the birds, but the tongue is planted so far in the cheek for these they can't help but make me smile.

Well, I think that once they did a couple of them, with the black costume and the Ben Reilly Spider-Man costume, they decided to have some fun with it. I'm looking foward to seeing those in the eventual collection.

It can and will. Sadly more people would rather go out and buy the variant of a book they already have instead of taking it and actually trying something new, like a 100 Bullets, or a Walking Dead.
