I love his Spider-Man, Punisher and Daredevil work. His Hulk stuff was okay but I didn't see much of it. His Thor was decent enough.
I never really liked his X-Men stuff though. He did a few issues that I really liked but most of it I didn't.
The only time I really remember liking his art featuring Wolverine was Hearts of Darkness with Ghost Rider, Wolverine and Punisher. And even then, his Ghost Rider was pretty crap.
Speaking of Punisher, I wish he'd hurry up and do that arc on Punisher that he's supposed to be doing. He was supposed to do it ages ago. But no, we get Black Panther instead?

Most of the other stuff I'm a bit... meh about.
In the 90s I pretty much avoided him as much as I could. I really didn't like his stuff, but I'm a little more accepting now.
I don't mind his Spidey, mostly because the mask covers all those unsightly and unnecessary lines he uses, especially around eyes. :p
I've got a couple of his X-Men issues, but yeah... not so great.
I like part of an issue of Fatal Attractions he did (along with other artists), but not my favourite.

I hated him for years. I think I really started to appreciate his work more when I saw that 9/11 Spider-Man issue he did. The art in that was amazing and if I remember correctly, was done in record time (I seem to remember reading from several different sources that he did the majority of the work in about a week). Whether or not thats true, and I'd almost believe it was because he seemed very commited to that issue, the art was just stunning.

It's about time we got some progress around here!
X-Men terrorists is just the thing we need. Then they threaten to blow up the moon, and a covert group is set up to take them down.
A cover group consisting of people like Moon Knight (he needs the moon!), Daredevil, Iron Fist, Wolverine, Cyclops, etc.
See when you're taking out X-Men with X-Men, Wolverine's always gotta be there. Like... ALWAYS, or else you get fired.

If he was Austen, he'd be burned. Comic fanboys are idiots. ESPECIALLY X-Men ones.
I liked Morrison's secondary mutations, too.
I dread the day they reverse Beast's. As it is, Cassady's Beast is nowhere near as cool as Quitely's.

100% disagree with you. Whedon was a complete 180 to Morrison in regards to costumes and stuff but for the most part but so far his run reads very like Morrison (with the exception of the weird and illogical stuff Morrison did). Basically he's Morrison's hits with NONE of his misses.
I can't even believe you'd lump ANYONE in with Austen. Especially the one writer (not counting Pak) to actually keep elements from Morrisons run :?
Fanboys are indeed idiots. But even idiots are right sometimes.
I hated the secondary mutations. They were a conveinient little thing to use when he needed something to make sense that wouldn't otherwise. Emma survivng Genosha being the most obvious one.
And I hate Quietly's work with the unbridled passion of a nova. His Beast looked good, i'll admit but I much prefer Cassaday's.

Looking at this list, the only runs I really liked were Lobdell's and Morrison's. Casey's was okay. Kelly and Seagle were decent. I can't remember what Davis did and both of Claremont's weren't good. I honestly haven't read any of Milligan's yet, even though I have the whole run up 'til now.

Claremont's first run
Lobdell/Nicieza - roughly from 281-350
Whedon/Pak simultaneous to Claremont/Milligan (I'd rank Whedon higher up actually but I won't since he's only done 12 issues so far and Pak is there because as far as I'm concerned, Endsong was an arc of Astonishing. Same with Colossus: Bloodline but thats not finished.. Milligan is improving and I don't mind some of Claremonts stuff).
Morrison simultaneous to Casey/Austin (these three tie because i liked elements from all their runs, just not the whole runs).
Seagle/Kelly - 351-365
Alan Davis 366-379
Claremont (again) 380-390 (The Neo......... *shudder*)
