'Prestige' attracts Bowie

David Bowie is in negotiations to play Nikola Tesla in Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige," a thriller set in the world of magic for Touchstone Pictures. The Tesla character is based on the real-life Serbian-American inventor who discovered the rotating magnetic field. The cast also includes Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Michael Caine in a tale of rival magicians in early 20th century London.

I saw Bowie on the cover to some western at the local video store
