Ahh nice! I remember that image from one of the Kabuki Images issues. It's great to finally see it in color and running as a cover, lookin' forward to it!

The mignola cover is very very cool. Wouldn't mind him doing interiors if they ever had a Kabuki special with a bunch of artists. ;)

The cover by Mack was on sale at WW Texas. Almost got that one. The Mignola cover is very nice though.

And Stephen, I agree. I'd like to see a jam book of different artists doing an issue of Kabuki or a one shot.

Hi Craig,

If you are looking for a Kabuki jam book, try the Kabuki Gallery (http://davidmackguide.com/portfolio/kabuki/gallery.shtml) [AKA Kabuki Color Gallery], which features artwork by Mike Oeming, Brian Michael Bendis, Colleen Doran, Greg Land, Paul Pope and many others.

Hey David,

Thanks for that. I hadn't heard about that, but I would be interested in getting one if there are any left. I was talking more about an actual story with it all, with a page or two from several different artists, friends of Mack. So, in the same vein, but with a story attached to it. This is amazing though. Art from some of my favorite artists, especially Colleen Doran. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of that.

Thanks.

Craig

Why must they keep producing covers that I can't choose between?!

Not a 50/50 split.
Retailers, and per your request to them, can order any amount of either cover that they want for the regular price.

And retailers also get one Mignola cover FREE for every 10 copies of the regular Kabuki cover they get.

So they get something free for getting a healthy amount, and you can order one of each or either one you want just by putting in your advance order.
Everyone wins.
