From Newsarama.com (http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/Decimation/HoMPostMortem01.htm)

It’s all over, and in this case, the shouting is still going on.

Though House of M #8 has come and gone, the list of changes, and altered status quo is still being sussed out by many readers, from the most obvious: the mutant population of the Marvel Universe being cut to a fraction of its earlier number and Wolverine now knows his entire past to the less clear: what will Dr Strange do now that he has failed the planet in his sworn task, and what about all of that stuff Hank Pym, was talking about at the end of issue #8 where that weird energy signature showed up?

We sat down with writer Brian Bendis to talk about the miniseries that will continue to affect the Marvel Universe for months, if not years to come, as well as clarifications, hints, and inside stories as to what happened the way it happened.

Newsarama: First off Brian, going back to the start, what were your goals for the story of House of M? Were you, from the beginning, thinking about it as a mechanism to affect change, or was it more of a random walk that was going to examine the consequences of Wanda’s actions in Avengers Disassembled? ...

It still read like a three issue mini that was too long.
