I got woken up by the postman this morning since I had to sign for a package. I wasn't expecting anything at all so I had no idea what it could be. And BAM, the best damn surprise ever. A housewarming gift for my wife and I from our friend Gene:

Hands down the best piece of art I've ever held in my hands as well as one of the nicest things I've ever received. Just absolutely incredible art from a book that we both really love.

Gene is just the best and there is nothing else to it.

Fuck-a-Duck! as my mom always says. That's gorgeous. I like it better than the final in the book with the heavy black borders around the inset panels. Really lovely.

Well, what goes around comes around. You've always been a pretty generous guy in my book, Adi. You deserve a nice surprise.
