Because Culpepper and Favre are absolutly terrible.
How could 2 of the best and most consistent QBs just go right down the pooper?
Yes, I know neither has anyone to throw the ball to, but when they both throw career high picks in the first HALF of the season, something's definatly wrong.

New York siphoned off 90% of the skill in the NFC for their tribute game to Mara, it seems.

Even the best of QB's can't do anything when they're surrounded by total shit... free agency can kill a team good at times...

Who have the Vikings lost to free-agency? Unless you mean to say that the Vikings have signed bad free-agents which they seem to have done.

As a Minnesotan...let me field this question:
The Vikings have always been shitty under-achievers.
They have random moments of brilliance that distracts the public from seeing what they are. The head coaching of the team has sucked for over a decade.
Denny Green was functionally retarded.
Mike Tice is too busy trying to be one of the boys and never lays the hammer down on the team.
Hell....I miss the drunken rants of Burns.......
We haven't had a solid running back since Robert Smith, and even he wasn't that great.
Moss may have been an ass but he was the main reason they won the games they did in years past.
Culpepper holds a football like a lubed-up dildo.
The Metrodome's field is a threat to anyones knees and joints that lay foot on it.
The Vikings suck. And the sad part?
There is still an outside chance they could make the playoffs.

They signed players that helped the team none, yea. They're more of a bad team that has finally realized they're bad. And Green Bay has lost pretty much all skill players they've had over the past several years and has done nothing to replenish them.

Some suck might have made it's way into Seattle too.

How's that?
Hassleback's having a solid year, and Seattle is 5-2.

Too many games decided in the last minutes (plus it should be 6-1).

Eh, not really, they blew it against Washington.

I'd say you stole the suck from Michigan, but unfortunately we still have gobs of it.
