I've probably been the biggest Andruw Jones hater in the world the last couple of years but I think he's finally figured everything out and is ready to dominate. I know spring training stats are meaningless once the season starts but the changes he's made to his stance have obviously had an effect. The comparison is already floating out there and I think he is poised to have a 1998 Sammy Sosa-type breakthrough season (before anyone says anything about steroids, it's an aknowledged fact that Sosa also changed his approach at the plate that season). And most players reach their peak in their age 27 season so why not be optimistic about a guy who has averaged 30 homers over his 8 full seasons?

And he's still only a day older than Carlos Beltran!
