Now THAT is an ending! One of the best shows of the series and television this year. WOW!

What'd everyone else think?

Totally. I love that Christian would sacrifice another person when he felt he had to. I was wondering who it was going to be. For whatever reason I never thought it would be her.

I'm pumped for tonight.

I loved that ending last week.

My guess is that it's Quentin.

Anyone care to spoil what I missed last week?

Christian unquestionably did the right thing. The police had the wrong man, and with the public in grave danger of the Carver still at large, their efforts had to be focused back on apprehending the criminal. What Christian did was somewhat commendable, as he sacrificed his and the business' public images to get the authorities back on the case.

As for Sean, he became even more despicable for his desertion of Christian. I wouldn't mind if the character (and his annoying family) leaves the show actually, as he's become what I call a "show depressant." Much like Dr. Mark Greene from ER, these characters mire the show with endless depression.

Edit: "commendable" is a bit strong, but I'll keep it.

Christian didn't do it for anyone other than himself.

The last 10 minutes made up for the preceding 50.

It was still fun, but not nearly where the show normally is.

My mum and I FLIPPED OUT.

"Oh my god oh my god! That's so CRAZY! AHHHH!"

For about 10 minutes.

Sean annoys me. Where's the loyalty? He's been my friend for 20 years of course he didn't do it...well maybe he did. WHAT'S THAT???

For all intents and purposes, he's his brother. If Christian said he didn't do it, and that he was attacked, on basis alone Sean should have believed him.

Exactly, but remember that episode where Sean examined his anus and found no damage.

But if he's your brother you back him up like a brother.

Hey, man, cut Sean some slack. His family's in shambles... partially because his supposed best friend/brother knocked up his wife. Plus... c'mon, Christian only did what he did to get himself out of jail, not because of any sense of altruism.

There another thread on this somewhere.

I agree that the last 10 minutes made up for the first 50. I thought the first 50 were about the worst 50 minutes of Nip/Tuck (a show I love) ever.

It was a totally self serving move to leak the news to the press, Christian is narcissistic, but I would trust him over Sean. Sad since he did sleep with his wife, but he still seems more loyal. I find Sean to be a little hypocritical, but aren't we all.

I've only watched the show for a few months now, but I got the feeling that Sean is the only guy on there with a moral barometer. I imagine with a show that has that much debauchery, he probably ends up contradicting himself every now and again.

I've watched the show from the beginning and while he THINKS he is the moral barometer he is far from it, but who's perfect. At least Christian is pretty honest about himself, you know where you stand with him. Sean plays the morally superior card, but quickly sinks into the muck. For one he cheated on his wife, which started a lot of their marital problems although there were some issues before that as well.

I would love to read it. I was hoping to find one, but couldn't so I started my own thread. If you know where I can find it hook me up with a link. I'd like to see what others have already said. I can merge the thread.

My favorite episode of the series. Yet.
I bought the Season 1 DVD at Best Buy over the weekend for 16 bucks, and watched the last 6 episodes of that yesterday. Loved it, but saw nothing to change my mind.

In any other show that would have been spread out over several weeks,
Episode 1- Bullshit case parallels w/ Kit invesitgating the murder. Ends w/ Christian's arrest.
Episode 2- Christian interrogated. He realizes he's going to be in prison for a while.
Episode 3- Christian's mother. Ends w/ him
Episode 4- Christian gets out of prison.
Episode 5- Kit's surgery.

Today's episode was good, but probably on the bottom 50% of the series.
Loved how Gina got support for the business (especially the scene with the lesbian), Julia's bitchy comment to Sean, and the Nursing Home.

A question about the crematorium worker.
Which was more disturbing. His having sex with the corpse, or the incest?

Don't forget what happened to the first brothers.

Oh, man. Tonight's episode just reinforces what I thought before:

1) Sean's a decent guy who's struggling.

2) Julia is a ridiculous bitch.

3) Christian may be a dick, but at least he's funny.

I know it's a plot device, but I don't like where this is going with Sean's business prospects. Also, not enough Kelly Carlson lately.
