Hey Michael,
How's it going?
Just wondering how the website is coming along?
Heard you mention it a few times and your plan to maybe do some short weekly adventure strips on it which would be cool.

Well, it keeps getting moved to the back burner, especially now that I'm actually drawing DD. Maybe soon, though.
And yeah, I'm gonna do an adventure strip. I'm hoping to do 2 dailies and one color sunday each week. At the end of the year I'll be able to put out a book-sized collection. I've got a character and some basic elements already in mind.
I love the old adventure strips like Johnny Hazard and Rip Kirby and Terry and the Pirates. It's a storytelling form that has been pretty much lost. The things that pass as adventure stips in the newspapers today are generally pretty poor quality. So I'd just like to give it a shot and see how it goes.

Is that something you're going to publish online or in an actual newspaper?

Michael,
If you need/ want any help in setting up your site or finishing anything you have started on already, let me know. I'll volunteer my time just so I can see your adventure strips (i am a profession Web Developer, BTW)...
I heard your CGS podcast interview recently and loved that your first love of comics came from Williamson's Empire strikes back adapation... you totally take all the good bits that make Al's art awesome and make it completely your own... Missing you on Gotham Central and cannot wait for you and Ed on Daredevil- may your run be long, epic, and historical!!!
