Hi all,

Don't know if you guys get BBC on cable over in the US but there is an excellent 4 part show on the BBC here in the UK at the moment called: The Secret of Drawing.

If it comes on TV over in the states, I recommend anyone who is interested in drawing to watch - the first part especially was brilliant.

Let me know if any of you guys catch it and what you think.

missed the second part (?) the one about comics and manga, do you know if it's getting repeated on any channel the beeb have???

got connections, with tivo ;) so hopefully I can get his one recorded.

Hey AF,

Glad you guys could pick it up over there.

Keep your eye on the BBC3 and BBC4 channels as they often repeat shows on there, but I haven't seen it advertised - if I do see it on any listings, I'll be sure to let you know.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed with the 2nd part about comics (maybe cause I'm not really a fan of Manga - although the history of it was quite interesting)!

There was some cool stuff though, especially the bit about political cartoons - some really clever stuff.

was just watching some C4 art progs today (about the Impressionists & MOMO)
C4 sell these progs on dvd, might send an email to aunty beeb and see if she'll be doing the same... as a licence payer I really should get one for free!

They often bring out books to accompany BBC series like this too!

Might be worth a look.

Hi,

Does anybody still have the episode 2 of the serie ?? A full seed is missing (bit torrent) and the downloading process is blocked to approx. 87%... since severals days.
It would be welcome if somebody could reseed...

but unlucky,there is no subtitle.
I'm from china.so it is very hard for me to understand the show.would you please find me the subtitle?I googled a long time and found nothing~
