I am tired of fucking around installing cable. It is not what I want to do. I have been in the process of getting my loans back into deferment and reapplying to Iowa State University. I really am excited about going back to school. I talked to ISU today and they just told me to reapply and that I shouldn't have any problem getting back in. I was accepted last year, but somethings in life got in the way. Now that I have my life getting back on track I am going to go back to school. I am probably going to major in Graphic Design. It really shouldn't take me that long to complete it considering the credits that I have accumulated from my other college.

why graphic design?
ISU has a really good graphic design program. It is what I originally went to school for.

I will. I talked to my student loan people today and they said that since it is on record that I am making an effort to pay off my back balance of loans that I shouldn't have a problem getting a loan to help me out. I also know now that when I fill out my FAFSA that I will be elgible for more money because I am independent of my parents.

Good.

And, once you're back in school you can request an In School deferment from your loan servicer(s). The form will need to be certified by the school and that'll put your existing loans back into that status (less interest accrues or NO interest accrues depending on the types of loans you have).

I made sure that my loans could be defered.

Sweet.

So, all you need now is a car, some pencils and a beer fridge.

Graphic Design is just an idea. I might do some of that and finish up my Communication degree.

In all seriousness, I'm glad you're going. I'd tell you it's going to be fun, but it's really not. I'm at school right now and it blows. It blows a big one.

But, in the end, it's worth it. Completely worth it.

Oh, I know. This job that I have had for the past year has been hell. I am really looking forward to going back to school. This time I am not going to fuck around like I have done before.

good decision. whatever major you chose to go into make sure you try to get as much internships, volunteer work as possible in that field while in college. it really makes a huge difference in getting jobs after school.

Meet with counselors to make sure they'll accept the classes you already have under your belt, sometimes you have to fight a little for them.

Yeah, I will probably do that once my lease for my apartment is up here in Des Moines.
