is there a faster way to submit to Image? like over the internet? i was checking out submissions for one company (i won't mention the name) and they take submissions through e-mail. i'd prefer to submit to Image, but the mailing process seems so time consuming and there's no telling if/when they'll see it.

From what they say all the time is mail only.

Sorry dude, you'll just have to stand in line with the rest of the schlubs. And be prepared for a wait. I always hear people raving about how promptly Image responds but I've never seen it personally. It took 7 months for them to respond to my first submission, and my last submission back in February never got a response at all (even after I resubmitted it in May). Hell, in the time I've been waiting for Image to even respond to that submission I just went out and got it published elsewhere. I'm already deep into drawing the thing! So my advice is submit to Image, but don't expect much. Submit to other publishers too.

I've submitted them twice. BOth times took under two weeks to reply.

did you send it priority mail? what did you send along in the package? a script, a pitch, any pages?

I think I sent it regular mail. It had whatever their standard submission guidelines wanted. Seven pages of finished art, a quick synopsos, and an outline.

I submitted to them as well, I got my response a few months later.
