...high off her ass, she envisioned herself floating out of her body and into a ufo and then falling back to earth in a swamp.
Suddenly, a GIANT alligator pops out of the water and almost snaps its jaws right on her
"It's obviously a manifestation of my fear of being eaten by things, so I can now let it go, right?
But, what if it wasn't a manifestation of past fears, but a vision of what is going to happen? My friend is moving to Florida, and I have to visit her. Alligators are down there. I could be eaten. I tell ya', you can get killed by anything these days..."

Um, weird...but what is weirder is that she thinks it is odd to have a fear of being eaten by something. Doesn't the idea of being eaten kind of scare everybody?

"dude, I saw 'hover-boards' at age 12 in 'Back to the Future', and I am still waiting for them to be invented.
I'll be one of those old, disgruntled, pissed off people while the kids are running around w/ jet packs and hover boards because I am 70 and they didn't come out while I was waiting...
I'll be mad because they promised us that shit in the 80's. Instead they put everything into computers and space. What about me?"

ahhhh....siblings....they're the people who've known us all our lives....
My brother's sort of similar...though not an artist...he's just whacky....I find the best way to deal with it is to laugh at him....

ron. t. and i were hanging out this weekend - watching something on t.v., i can't remember - dane cook dvd, maybe??? - and something came up about kids and bad strangers. and i remembered your damned story about your mom and the truck and her attempt to trick you at the bus stop, and started laughing so hard i almost swallowed my fucking tongue.
