what do you think the fanboy outrage would have been like online when Empire Strikes Back came out?

i think it would have been pretty crazy.

i think that should be the last episode for That 70's show.

foreman comes back from africa and sees empire and learns that vader is lukes father.

and i would like them to flash forward to have him learn that leia is lukes sister.

I hope you realize that almost nobody would have a PC with the computing power to load today's websites.

he stood her up at the altar. they got over it and renewed the engagement. sort of. he then found out that his college savings was used up by red and kitty so he signed up to go teach in africa to get money for college.

the night before they left they all got caught smoking up in the basement.

there was even a hug between red and eric.

and kelso warned eric about bugs that lay eggs in your brain and then the worms shoot out your eyes like worm bullets. although it turns out these bugs were a creation in one of kelso's "comic books" that he made.

what if the internet existed in 1980 as it does now. w/IM and message boards and access in just about every home in the world. The existence of the appropriate technologies is implied.

If you really want to think about it -- tell me how the existence of that technology twenty-five years early would change the world! In essay form, with no less than one hundred thousand words.
