Okay, I know "Arrested Development" comes up on this forum daily, but I saw this and had to pass it along:
http://getarrested.com/
Aside from featuring a very funny clip from this Sunday's new episode, there's also a "loyalty pledge" and a way to tell friends about Arrested Development. When you tell your friends, there's supposedly details about a special discount they can get on the Season One DVD set, but I haven't sent the page out to anyone (yet). Plus, you can sign up for updates and exclusive news about Arrested Development.
This seems promising to me that Fox would launch a site this late in the season to promote the show. Further, today Fox announced that it was renewing "Malcolm in the Middle" for next season. Given that "Malcolm" gets fewer viewers per week than Arrested, and given that Fox also green-lit another season of "That '70s Show" sans Ashton Kutcher and Topher Grace even though that show also gets fewer viewers than AD, I think a renewal looks promising. I don't think it'll be a 22-episode order renewal, though.
Finally, if you're not doing anything (or anyone) promising tonight, there are two episodes of the show repeating tonight on Fox from 9-10pm Eastern. The episodes are "The One Where They Build a House" and "Good Grief," two of this season's better offerings.
I really want this show to survive. Yeah, if it's cancelled, we'll have seen 40 brilliant episodes of the show. But I'm selfish...60 is better. ;)

And coincidentally, doesn't this come at about the same time the guy in change of FX takes over as FOX TV Head?
This bodes well.

The best thing for them to do, is after this season is over, HIGHLY PUBLICISE and restart every episode from season 1 and 2. It's the only way for the show to gain more veiwers as it is not newbie friendly at all.

I don't know about season one happening (since it's already on DVD)...but they definitely could play the shit out of season 2 over the summer before they release that DVD set and leading into the premiere of season 3.

Yeah, some marathons couldn't hurt! Hell, they should be running non-stop marathons on sister network FX!!!

Another great idea that I can't believe they haven't capitalized on.

That clip from tomorrow night's episode is very funny.
"I ain't kissing that old bitch!"
:D
It's very hopeful.
Plus, since I registered at the site I posted, I received an e-mail this morning that said the following:
"The best comedy on television only has a few episodes left in its second season.
So we're taking advantage of this last chance to introduce more people to the show before summer by launching a grassroots campaign at getarrested.com (http://getarrested.com).
Head over there now to pledge your love for the show and find out how you can bring this extraordinary series to friends and family who haven't seen it yet!
Now's your chance to throw your two cents in! E-mail us here at FOX with your favorite reasons for watching. We'd love to hear what you think of the show!
Write us at GetArrested@fox.com!
Get Arrested every Sunday, 8:30/7:30c"
I take this as a sign of hope. Note the reference to "introducing more people to the show before summer"...could that hint at a possible renewal for fall? I don't know, but my fingers are crossed.
BTW, I completely agree...I don't see why they're not running repeats of the first and second season on FX almost constantly. I'm not saying air it ten times a day, but find a good regular time (e.g. early evening, like between 6 and 8pm or perhaps 11pm at night) and air the episodes frequently. It may not be possible given the release of the first season on DVD, but it can't hurt. ;)
I've never been more enamored with a television comedy. Dramas, yes, but not comedy series.

I was hoping AD would get renewed yesterday, so I could make a post "Arrested Development cancelled" and when people click on it, they read "April Fools Suckas. It Got renewed."

Anyone notice that they're playing it on Fridays, as well? We were at a friend's last night, flipping though the channels, and "Good Grief" was on, 4th episode of this season. Not exactly going to bring in huge numbers, but it's better than nothing, I guess.
EDIT: Whoops, missed that part in the first post. Is this an ongoing thing? I'd heard it was.

I hate it how FOX doesn't support the show!
