So about a year and a half ago when Angel got the kill order, Buffy had ended, etc. I was watching about three shows religiously.
The shield, Sopranos, and Alias.
Cut to now....
Rescue Me, Nip Tuck, Supernatural, Lost, Surface, Invasion, Family Guy is back, Over There, Sopranos returns this fall/winter, Shield returns in January, My Name is Earl, Kitchen Confidential, and Robot chicken will be back early next year.
WHY!?!
I don't have enough hours in the day as is.
Why can't TV go back to sucking except for two or three shows like it always has?

A few years ago I only watched a few shows too.
A lot of times TV can be one big crapshoot; producers throw stuff out there and hope it sticks. But now there seems to be an interest in showing good programs run by talented writers, producers, directors and actors and probably has a lot to do with the rise in quality of programming on cable channels like HBO and FX. I think it's great. :)

Because God hates and loves us at the same time.
I have virtually no time for anything else in my life besides TV and this place.

I'm glad we can finally put a stake through the heart of the reality show mania. It was getting out of hand.

There are still a lot of good ones on the air. Survivor is always great, and even though The Amazing Race is having an off year, it still rocks.

You knkow I don't even have Cable, thank god, and I barely have the time to watch what I want to watch. I wind up getting the cable shows I want to see on DVD so in the end i think I save money rather than buying Cable I might not even watch and pay for the DVDs on top of that. F-that. Here's what I watch...
Without a Trace
Gray's Anatomy

OC when I'm not taking night classes

Since I got the Lost DVD, I don't watch tv shows weekly anymore.
I will watch NIP/TUCK and Family Guy when it starts over here, and 24 and Scrubs for the new season, I don't watch anything else unless Reno 911 is on. (Which is very occasionally, on a wierd tv station)

I'm so glad that I'm don't watch TV that much anymore.
The only shows I watch now are:
Corner Gas
Trailer Park Boys (and they only do 8-10 episodes a year)
and Doctor Who (13 a year, with a Christmas special coming up)
I watch South Park when the seasons come out on DVD.
