godDAM.
i really enjoyed it. just... so many things. the flow of the story, the art, the real dialogue, the way in which he set up the pages and panels. amazing. thank you to blake for the recommendation, and anyone else who helped.
i am going to borders tomorrow morning to buy Box Office Poison, as well. if you haven't read it, i highly recommend it.

I liked it, but I didn't think it was great. It was a decent movie script.

I'm 50 pages into Tricked, and hoping like hell that it's better than BOP. The ending completely killed what would have been a great book in BOP.

It felt far move like a story board for a movie script than a comic to me, I wouldn't be suprised if he was shopping it.
That's not a bad thing at all, just saying. It was a fast read with an Ok ending for me.

I'm only about a third of the way through, but I don't understand how a bad ending can ruin a 600 page book if the first say, 500 pages were great.

Oh, it can.
But this one doesn't have a bad ending, don't worry.

I read it for the first time on Monday while I was stuck in Conneticut. What an amazing book. Art, writing, everything about it blew me away. I've gotta get Box Office Poison with the quickness.

It was simmilar to how I blew through Blankets. I just sat there for hours and read the whole thing in two sittings.

Fucking fantastic book... probably the best thing I've read so far this year... just barely edging out TOP TEN: THE 49ERS

While I enjoy the book, I felt the ending was telegraphed WAY far ahead.
WHile I enjoyed the journey of the characters, I felt it took a long way to get to where I knew it was going.

I loved it. It was much stronger than BOP because the story was tighter and more focused. BOP just went all over the place too much (but was still a good read).

I met Alex Robinson at WWBoston last weekend, super awesome guy! I bought Box Office Poison the first day and had him sign it, and then read 1/3 of it that night. SOOO GOOD! I then went back the next day and bought Tricked, which I just started reading.
Has anybody ready "More Box Office Poison?"

I also saw Alex Robinson at WWBoston last weekend, and ended up dropping $150 at the CBLDF booth for a sketch, and the hardcovers of both Tricked and BOP. Both hardcovers have great sketches in them, too.
Well worth every penny.
