View Full Version : Not sure if SERENITY is worth paying to see? Watch the first 9 MINUTES for FREE!

Apparently I have to continue my pimping!

Everyone from the Bendis Board that has seen the film has liked it (from what I've read), but some of you still seem uncertain. The link I've provided will allow you to watch the first nine minutes for free via Universal's official Serenity site for international market. A pop up will occur that requires you to authorize the Vividas video player, so make sure to not close it by accident!

Hopefully you'll take the time to check it out. If you enjoy what you see and/or you find yourself intrigued, make sure to check it out this weekend at a theatre near you!

I might go see this movie now

If so, here are two things to consider:

1.) Can I talk some friends into going with me?
2.) Can I see it over the weekend?

Sorry, I just had to pester you a little more. ;)

The geek lingo wasn't an attempt to make converts. It was an attempt to keep this page bumped once I'm not at my computer anymore, which is likely to be sometime in the next hour.

But it is kind of gross. It reeks of cat urine and cabbage.

No, not at all. I've taken a lot of Firefly virgins to see it, and they loved it. A lot of the amazing reviews that the film has been getting have come from reviewers that had not seen the television series whatsoever.

Just to throw in my 2 cents...
This is a great, fun action packed flick. There isn't a moment where I was bored...it could easily have gone on for another 45 minutes and I don't think I would have noticed. And considering this only had a 40-50 million budget, it looks 10x better than any of the Star Wars prequels.
