So I get the latest issue of EGM in the mail (November issue). There is a bunch of stuff on XBox 360 in there. I get to one page and there is a big huge ad on how they are giving away 10 XBox 360s along with other stuff. I thought "Sweet. I know I won't win but its worth a shot" There is a code in the magazine that you're supposed to enter on a site that is also listed. It also says to keep an eye out for the next two issues because you'll get two more chances to win. I liked the sound of that even better.
So I put in the website and get ready to enter the code and what do I see? "Sign up for a subscription to EGM and get automatically entered to win an XBox 360" That's right you have to sign up for another year of the magazine in order to enter the contest (at least 3 more years if you want to take advantage of your 3 chances to win) Funnily enough there is not one mention in the actual magazine that you are required to sign up for another subscription in order to enter the contest (just really tiny print of "for complete rules blah blah blah" at the bottom of the page) It just says to go to that site and enter the code. What a crock of shit.
