What exactly is that thing that she wears all the time? And why is it such a bitch to draw. I've tried drawing her a couple of times and can't seem to draw it in a way that doesn't look goofy.

It's hard to see, but it used to wrap all the way around her head like a headwrap. She left the Avengers in #29 for about 6 months & when cha came back she had the modern version, no explanation.

I always thought it was pretty weird. Is it supposed to be some kind of tiara to signify her status as superhuman royalty? Then why doesn't Quicksilver wear something like that, too--or is his stupid hair proof enough?

It is just some strange head piece that Kirby came up with.
